android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS Used to ask your permission before sending push notifications on supported Android versions. Booking updates, support replies, account alerts, promotional or service reminders if enabled later.
android.permission.VIBRATE Allows vibration feedback when notifications are delivered. Presently useful for notification alerts and may also support future in-app attention cues.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK Helps the device briefly stay awake while notification or background messaging related work is being handled. Used with notification delivery reliability and may support future background sync improvements.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Allows Android components related to messaging or scheduled app behavior to resume properly after the device restarts. Primarily relevant for reliable notification services and possible future scheduled reminders.
android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION Allows approximate location access when you use location-based address detection or service area checks. Pickup availability checks, approximate address assistance, and future city-based service experience.
android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION Allows precise GPS location access when you choose "use current location" during address or booking steps. More accurate pickup address capture, mapping, route assistance, and future operational accuracy.
android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO Used only when you actively tap the microphone for voice search inside the app. Current use is voice search for device discovery. It may also support future spoken search or voice assistance features if added.

4. Feature-by-Feature Data Use

Location

The app asks for location only when you choose to detect or confirm your current location. This helps save your address, check service area support, and improve pickup accuracy.

Voice Search

The microphone is used only when you start voice search manually. The app is not intended to listen in the background for this feature.

Push Notifications

Push notifications may include booking status updates, service communication, and support replies. For this, the app stores a Firebase messaging token mapped to your account and device.

Profile Image Upload

If you upload a profile picture, the selected image is sent to the server and associated with your account for display inside the app.

  • With backend hosting, database, and infrastructure services required to run Easy2Sell
  • With Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery
